It's a Cr. sp. "Tapajos I", Flame Pike. It has a ton of potential to become the most gorgeous pike you'll ever see. Does he have any left? Very nice pickup.
yes i think he does can i keep more than one together?:D

Depends on the size of the tank and whether or not they like each other. I wouldn't attempt in anything less than a 125 gallon tank and even that may not be large enough once they mature.

How big is the fish you have?

BTW, for what it's worth, your fish looks like a male.

Hey Scat, how do you differentiate between the 'Tapajos I' and the 'Xingu I' once they reach maturity?

Beautiful pike, BTW!!

They are pretty easy to tell apart as juv. as well as adults. Xingu I will have the black lateral line, as well as the black spangles on the face. Generally tapajos I lacks these. Plus tapajos I has a humeral blotch behind the pelvic fin. :)

As adults, there is no mistaking them!!! In tapajos I, BOTH adults look like they are on FIRE. They also still keep their humeral blotch. Xingu I just doesn't even come close. As well, tapajos I is much more slender than xingu I. :)

Great pike up man!!! Rich originally had them labeled as lugubris....lol....I tried telling him a couple times they were tapajos I, but he's still pretty new to pikes! LoL
