Rusty's groomer does the same thing and I also remove the scarves quickly. But I have to admit, that on days the Steelers play, I put a Steelers scarf on Rusty and walk him down to the neighborhood bar where I watch the games. Even though there's mostly Browns and Bengals fans there, he get some pregame petting. Then I take him back home before the game starts.
Other than that, I'm not normally a dog dresser upper. Unless I'm bored and drunk on vacation, with too much time on my hands. There are no plans to dress him up for Halloween. But he does have antlers to wear during the Chrstmas season.
