i feel your pain buddy i went to sheffield uk from basicly cambridge way on sat to buy 4 tem's brought them half way home i opend the box to check and bang 2 were upside down dead gills pushed right out other 2 are in my tank ok but just megga stressed still

my experience with moving cichla is that they dont move/transport well at all. they'll flip over and die for no reason. most just cant handle the stress

sucks man. sorry. I lost 3 pinima and 3 orinos about 2 years ago when both were a bit harder to get a hold of here and it was a huge bummer, but they came around again and I got some even nice fish.
 
All I did was net a 6" orino and put him in a bucket of his own tank water and this happens

No idea how he went into shock like that. All I know is I'm seriously p*ed off and I've just lost a fish I'll probably never be able to replace.
