With the reputation Rapps has, if it happened, I am sure it was a fluke.

A fluke or not he didn't make up for it and my friend was left with hundreds of dollars of fish that were deformed and in horrible shape.

I am sorry your friend had such a problem. The shipment I received was packaged great. The fish all were individually bagged with newspaper keeping them from seeing each other on the ride, in a cushioned styro box. The fish are in great shape. No fin issues, no disease that I can see. All look to be very healthy.
