Last year I saved a female kenyi cichlid from being flushed down the toilet. Was told she was aggressive, but I thought my breeding pair of convicts could handle it, as the male is significantly larger then the kenyi. I had no room to put the kenyi, so I put her in my 40 breeder with the cons. She kept her distance from them for a few weeks, then all of a sudden, like a lightswitch, she went psycho! She beat the hell out of my larger male con, tore scales and shredded his fins and tore his lips, and made my female con take refuge all day behind a cichlid stone.
