if it doesn't work, my lfs would gladly take any fish off my hands. i'm kind of 'in', if you know what i mean.

we'll festaes are incredibly aggressive you could try to make a good site for breeding and divide the tank with heavy plants or drift wood or something to break the line of site most likely they won't leave the nest to attack other fish so it could work if set up right but the aro may get pretty chewed up

i'd say fill it with an aro and a bunch of cichlids and breed festae in anouther tank

thanks, the part about the territories sounds like a good idea.

but can we try to remember that breeding festaes in this tank is just an extra?
