I know this is a long shot without a pic but I figured cant hurt. I live in Portland Oregon and have a 1000 gallon pond outside. Last year I went down to another man made little pond in a housing development and got mosquitofish that had been stocked in there and these other little gold colored fish, I just figured they were goldfish, today I decided to catch some and put them in a tank inside just for kicks. They have grown like three times the size there about 4 inches long, completelly gold color, with rounded heads being the most distinctive feature, does anyone know what they are, does anyone else have these in man made stocked ponds, again, I know without a pic its a long shot but maybe I can at least get an Idea of what they are, any help would be great, thanks

Without the lionhead growth on the forehead, it would not be an oranda. Probaly got yourself a Golden Orf. DOn't keep us guessing buddy, try to get a pick.
