Thank you all for your input I have had many discussions in the past with many who think the tank should be lit 24/7 and I personally do not agree and give my fish a dark period to ease stress. I have a breeding pair of angelfish and want the best for them. I had purchased live plants and all the goodies for proper comfort and breeding and just wanted some good opinions. you all have done so for me and I thank you.

Night and day would be my personal opinion... Plus I have a power bill... and Some dumb ass is runnin around here shuttin power sub stations off anyway... So ya..

my tanks ligts are set on a power timer, ligth turns on at 8 am and off at 10 pm......
