I lost big Red today-- i will never know why..?

He was certainly a beautiful wet pet, sorry for your loss. My female devil is going on nine and she isn't nearly as active as she used to be. I hate the idea of losing her but it won't suprise me when it happens. It is going to be hard on my wife though. She didn't want her when I first got her but Lucy has become her fish over the years. She won't even eat when I feed her any more, my wife has to put the food in the tank for her.

your wife posted pics of Lucy... i remember her... so pretty... wow 9 very good... right now i am watching my jag fade... he is still eating but sleeps so much... as i started this thread about big red... i did not realize the jag would go down hill so fast..

I've posted quite a few pics of Lucy but not sure that my wife has. Of course anything is possible.

She takes care of the feeding but everything else is still my job.

Sorry it was probably you then... i just remember Lucy and lowcell... but i always thought there was another avatar called lowcell with something else added to the name... ahhhh just too many avatars in one day...i am losing it..

So sorry to hear about Big Red. He was a beautiful fish for sure, and had a pretty long life... My favorite fish is going through several health issues at the age of 4 so I know what it's like to lose them and not be yet ready for it. It's hard.
