11~12" male haitiensis

He was a good father and allowed fry's to eat him alive. It was too late by the time I separated him from the babies. He got pretty bad infection and never recovered from it.

Yes, I am growing out a few for myself. The mom is recovering nicely and she does not allow babies to eat her anymore.
The fry's are about 2" tl now. Hopefully, I can get a few nice males out.

I was never aware of N. haitiensis letting fry feed of their slime coats. When i went to Gani's and saw his he told me about your fish so I was blown away.
Your male was beautiful. I've no doubt you'll get a real looker out of the batch, just like his old man.
