I lost one of my Turtles

:cry: I lost one of my false map turtles, I dont know what happend they were looking healthy and growing like mad, feeding really well and then today my wife said she saw that one was going stiff and so she put him up on the log under the light but when I went to check it was dead. I have another but now Im worried I might lose both. They are still just baby's maybe 5 months old now. I have had them since January. Im so bummed out. Anyone have any possible reason this may have happend? I keep small feeder fish with them but they never have eaten them and they seem to eat well every morning... I just have no idea what happend. :cry:
 
Don't have any ideas as to what has happened to them but sorry for your loss.

did you notice any suspicious activity in or around the tank in the past few days? :)

ok so

we need to know afew things

what have you been feeding them?

whats the temp of the water?

whats the temp of the air in tank?

what kind of heating device are you using? and how many watts

are you using any UVB lighting soarce?

how big is the tank?

how often do you change the water? and please include how much you change.

saying you change the water twice a weeks doesnt help, you could change 2 cups of water for all we know :ROFL:
 
most of those?'s dont matter...... did you ever see him ummm have a bahl movement... what color/consistency was it?.....thats what i need to know:thumbsup:

that will help alot but is kinda sick did you treat your water for chorline etc my friend made his older turtles sick by not treating the water.. types of foods did you feed besides the feeders?
