i might have a one eye bichir

My polys don't seem to use their eyes much when looking for food anyway. LOL They'll pass a dang worm several times, within centimeters, before finding it. Not the brightest crew in the world but still effective. I think they use their smell much more.

Oh,, it may very well be from a rub on a net but still work on the water as others have said.

just a little eye cloud very cure able if you do good water changes just use a little malafix and it will clear up if you have a smaller tank to move it into that would be best it would be cheaper to med a tank thats smaller

I'D be ALOT more concerned about its tankmates thow that jar could eazily eat it you better keep it full and find a way to fatten up that bichir try feeding it at night when the lights are off that will give it an advantge but a jar might just flip out and kill it even if it does grow big enough not to be eaten you really need to watch that little guy

thx for the inputs guys, i'm glad to hear that. the bichir is hiding under my drift wood most of the time, i saw it swam out a few times, and my jar was curious about it. it went close and touched the bichir w/its barbels a few times, but it isn't interested in the bichir anymore. so i guess the bichir is safe as far as the jar is concerned. plus, my tank's got plenty of hiding spaces for my cichlids and other fishes. but i'll definitely keep an eye on that little guy
