I miss my dog.

I really, really, really like my fish.... but I LOVED my dog. His name was Jordan. He was 9 years old. I had to put him down last night. It happened suddenly. He had a flipped stomach and was in a lot of pain. There was not much that could be done. I stayed with him til the end. He was the first dog I ever had.

so sorry to hear that. That's common in Great Danes, but never heard of it much out of other species like a Boxer. Again, sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss, I was always a sucker for a brindle dog. I believe that is gastric torsion what you are talking about, and more ofter than not happens when an animal is fed, and then worked or played with very hard after being fed, but sometimes just happens for different reasons. Again I am sorry for your loss, and wish you a speedy recovery on a tragic loss.

Sorry for you loss, its always hard to lose a pet. I just lost a dog about a month ago =[ It will heal in time.
