I'm so sorry man, I miss my dog too we had to put him down almost 2 weeks ago. It's gonna be hard buddy but I know how you feel. Woody was an 15 year old yellow lab, best dog you could ask for. My dad didn't let me go with him to the vet to be there with Woody.... Your dog knew you loved him and hey it's not really "Good Bye" it's more of a "I'll see you later good friend". It's always hard losing your first dog. I'm really sorry for your loss man but remember you're not the only one here that's missing a furry friend if that helps you at all.

i am sorry for your loss..looking at his face made me cry,.. i can only imagine how painful this has been for you... i have been there in your shoes many times... i loved them all.. when you feel up to it please get another one.. it heals your heart and gives you the chance to love another dog who needs you.
