The previous Aros all died within days of purchase,the first was a two incher,the others were around four inches in length.There was some years passing between each purchase.The two incher was probably quite delicate at that age but the others were more robust.I remember trying them in newly cycled tanks or tanks with little bio load and they seemed to just perish.The last one was the only jumper.I know this has nothing to do with a curse it just sucks that the Jar is one of my all time favorites and I have had rotten luck with them.808living;1795401; said:

Sorry to hear that dude. =\ That just really sucks.
I agree with everyone else though, next time patch up that small spot with some mesh or a holed sheet of plastic. I had to do that with my Pleco in my old 30 gallon tank because it would always ride up the out-take port of the filter and get inside it somehow.
