hey guys,

i need a big net that i can use to move arrowanas and knives. i heard about one that opens at both ends so the fish dont get hurt or catch their fins. anyone know where to get them or have any ideas on good nets? must be fish friendly as i want to have as little stress on the fish as possible. thanks.

oh, the arro is 20" and the knife is 18" so far.

try fishing nets..... stuff u use for fly fishing..... that'll be perfect for an arowana and knife at that length...

There's a net that neo uses that is nice and long. Forget where he got it.

i did read neos thread a while back, but i was hoping to avoid going through all the pages again. i think that is where i heard about the net to begin with actually. he had those big barras to move.

ill look into the fly fishing nets also.

Check out bass pro or cabelas, or any fishing place. The have nets now that are rather large, long, and have a rubber coating on them to prevent damaging the fish. The only other place I could think, would be a pond store, if there's one near you. Had a hell of a time finding a big one for my knife and I just went to bass pro shops (outdoor world).:D

exactly!!!! check out any shop that sells fishing equipment, and get one of the huge rubber nets. their made for catch and release fishing i believe, as to minimize any injuries to the fish's fins and scales, unlike a traditional net which can be quite rough.

try looking on ebay also, should find some nice deals.

try a clean white pillow case
