I currrently have a 6" warmouth, 6" Bluegill, 6" green sunfish, 7"spotted pike, 6" needlenose gar, 5" bluegill, 7" yellow bullhead, 5" largemouth bass and a 3" peacock all in a 55 gallon. If i can get enough people to say i need a bigger tank like a 200-400 gallon to house these fish i might be able to get my mom to let me get one, so post here if you agree i need a bigger tank, i know these fish are over crowded so keep the flaming to a minimum.

absolutely! 55 is not large to hold any on those fish singly never mind together!

Yes. And IMO cramming all the fsih in the tank to try to get a bigger tank is irresponsible. I am 14 with very strict parents, it took a full year of "earning" to get a mere 30 gallon, so I understand... but don't put the fish at risk. And with the Largemouth Bass, and Peacock, I assume a Cichla, even a 400 would be a bit tight.

all these fish started out as fry under 1 inch and some were given to me and my friend dumped the peacock on me, it is a mono. Btw, what idiot voted that those fish are fine in a 55?

oh, i forgot to mention there is also a 5" whaite crappie in that tank too.

Is it just me or was the title of this thread "Do I need a bigger tank?" and is now " I need a bigger tank"

Regardless, fish grow, and you should have expected them to get bigger than 1" fry and outgrow a 55.
