I need a cheap filter

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
jebo the 1200l/h model is great if your on a tight budget. high flow with little bypass. i have been running one for a year and a half with zero problems. i was running a 2nd but i swapped that for a 2nd hand eheim classic. 2nd hand eheim classics on ebay is your next best bet.

the guy said he is on a budget and tbh i wouldnt say brand new rena/fluval filters are in the cheap and affordable range. they are a mid-high range filter. if your budget is that tight then you could get 2 jebo or possibly 3 for $100, they are not as bad as people seem to think. look on ebay, it has mountains of 2nd hand filters, all makes so you may get a really good one on the cheap.

Just remember you get what you pay for.

New fluval 404s for $85 on ebay. Its just the previous version of the 405; pretty much identical.

Got a link to "3 for a hundred" canister filters of any kind?

its only a guesstimate, note the "possibly 3" before you try and get smart, not an exact figure. jebo are cheap, and to some extent you do get what you pay for, but these are great for the money you pay and obviously not the quality of eheim which is why i also mention ebay for 2nd hand eheims. rena are not a bargain basement filter for a tight budget. i dont live in N. America hence the "could get 2 or possibly 3". some key words in there to take note of.
i was mentioning that if the budget is that tight then jebo are good and rena are far from the budget ranges.

Try and Get smart?
Pardon me if I came off like I was trying to "get smart",
See, I actually thought you knew what you were talking about, and had an actual link
my bad, accept my appologies please!...

Please let me re-phrase the question...Do you have a link for:
2 (KEY WORD>>>) possibly (<<<KEY WORD) 3 canisters of ANY kind then?

See we have a link for XP3's for 109.99...NEW!
You know the RENA?

this is an actual price that is obtainable...
I was trying to give greatfulxdead some advice that was a possible solution, not a theory...

Anyway, it sounds like it is a pond he is trying to filter, maybe that's the question I should be asking...
