The Road by Cormack McCarthy.

Yes yes yes yes yes. Some people don't like McCarthy's prose, but for those who do... this book will shatter your heart into a million pieces, and then slowly, miraculously, piece it back together.

Depends what your in to, my fav books are the Nick Stone series by Andy Mcnab, amazing writer, the books are so good its often hard for me to put them down once i start reading.

Stephen King, I dare you to put down : Dolores Claiborne

It is encouraging to see MFK'ers reading books, too many don't seem to any more
LOL

Here is the best book I have read in a decade...a beautifully written fantastic but true story. If you like excellence of prose and gripping story I guarantee you will love this book
Shantaram
Shantaram is a 2003 novel by Gregory David Roberts, a convicted Australian bank robber and heroin addict who escaped from Pentridge Prison and fled to India ......
