I Need a TEXAS Professional

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
what allude to it being a hybrid to me are the red-tinted base color and that the spots/markings aren't clearly distinguished but kind of mushed together, and i think carpinte over cyano because of the size and spacings of the markings, on a cyano cross they would be smaller, more plentiful and closer together

well then maybe it is as stated. I love the fish think it is attractive and personable but not sure it is an improvement over a true carpinte. Now those are beautiful fish! We will see how this one matures which apparently does not take long.

Looks like some kind of sunfish to me. Does this guy have a lake behind him? I admit I'm no expert but damn, that really looks like a sunny, Crappie not a Tex.

i agree with carpinte but im not exactly sure if not a hybrid

Ehh it doesnt have the blotchy color or the longer Carpintis mouth. This fish is mostly Cyano. I doubt it has any red texas in it, or that its encondido.
My guess is that a Cyano breed with "something" in the Hericthys family. Cyano/ Escondido are actually VERY beautiful fish. Im hoping for some hybrids soon actually
