i have a 4ft x 1.7 x1.7 tank with a jar and sum long stem live plants..
i do water changes on saturday 50% and wednesday 10-20%

my question is.. is it ok to feed my jar an hour before tank cleaning? or after tank cleaning? im thinking he myt get stressed on this.. just a thought.. tnx bros!!!

When my silver was smaller I used to feed him crickets during water changes. It got to the point that he got exciting when I started doing the waterchange.

Here's an answer, I feed my rocket gars a few minutes before I do water changes, because then their belly's are full and they don't care what I do. If they're hungry they freak out and hit the glass and try to jump out. I don't know if it's the right thing to do, but in my case it makes the process far less stressful on the fish.

how many times do you change your water? lol

actually im doing a once a week WC, on saturdays around 40-50% WC.. im planning to do another extra 10-20% WC on wednesdays, so thats twice a week (my plan)... is this ok?

i think its better not to feed on wc days.

this is also what i do, still if you do feed there will be no problem... fish will just eat less if it's after, and maybe digest a bit slower if it's before, but it won't kill them...;)
