got your pm, no just leave the fish alone. also get pics to double check.

no problem, the gator i had is now hunting regularly again and everything, just give it some time and no aggressive tankmates. again, pls post a pic to confirm that yr gator has the same thing mine had:|

good luck

getting my cam in the morning-i raised the temp, added a little stress coat, lowered the water level for his safety cause he was coming up to the surface so quickly and banged his nose on the top (again not like himself)
he seems to be ok for now, will keep ya posted, and again thanks man!

UPDATE
So he's still alive thank god! Here's what I noticed: as opposed to when he used to normally slowly rise to the top to take a breath of air-now, he's rising to get air and seems like he's having a spazim (spelling) while doing so. I'm wondering if he got hurt or something and now thats how he's gonna be...I just don't see how he could pull out of something like this
heres some pics of that slight "bulge" in his throat lined up by where his eye is that I was talking about...just wondering if a piece of food is in there not allowing him to get the proper amount of air...what do you guys think?
