I need help converting off live food.

Thanks for the suggestions all! Will try the ideas, however does everyone elses dats hide all the time i never see them out of their hiding spots. I have 3 and they cram themselves all into a 6 by 8in cave is this normal? They are about 2.5 to 3 in long. Not sure what is normal they seem so much different than any other fish i've had.

keep trying. vac and water changes often. they won't let themselves die, they will bite something before that.


also, i buy live feeders from fishing bait store. large feeders cheap. keep them in a 20 long uv sterilized tank for about a week before putting them in my tank witch is also uv sterilized. no diseases. i buy quantity 40 minnows 2-4" long for $3
