clown loaches are schooling fish.. 5 is an ideal minimum... people do keep them in smaller groups or singly.. but many die from stress. they grow slow, are fairly hearty, but prone to velvet/ick. If your columbian is what I think it is.. often called a silver shark by me.. it's going to need alot larger then a 55.. and eventually be more brackish/marine as it gets bigger. I'de also look at an eclipse cat/sun cat. mine has the nickname "hoover".. with good reason lol. I have rarely seen them over 10" but I've seen some pics of I'm assumeing big females in the 16" range. long as it doesn't fit in it's mouth they are very mellow cats ime.

+1 You already need a bigger, saltier tank. Be sure you are accommodating the fish you own before taking on more. You have great filtration and are appropriately stocked for now, so in the short run I guess adding a small cleanup crew should be manageable, but why isn't the Columbian shark cat eating...everything in sight?
