I Need help, please I.D this Catfish

Is this a true tiger shovelnose catfish? or is it a hybrid of some kind. because i have been browsing the forum for TSN and it looks different, what i mean is it doesn't have any stripes only little dots around the body. well here's the picture.

looks like a hybrid rtc x tsn to me. also sold under the name of yellow tail catfish.but i could be wrong

well that kinda sucks.. my LFS told me it was a pure TSN, and not a hybrid. ohwell i can always sell it later on.. thanks for the answer guys.

it's in a 60 gallon aquarium with my indo dat, artc, 3 hujeta, and 5 archers, all of em just about 1.5"-2". just a temporary tank. getting a 371 gallon ready.

That is gonna turn into a mess, even in the bigger tank. Artc needs to be housed solo.

artc as in asian or amazonian rtc? Because the the tail of the other cat in the pic provided is of an amazonian rtc......

well my LFS told me it was the asian variety.. and the TSN was not a hybrid sooo i guess i was misinformed...

of course, RTC is a SA fish but could they have meant that it was captive bred in SE Asia?
