I need help plsss

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That looks like Oyama stickering and yes it's quite difficult to get off, no way that's coming off unless you drain water from the tank and move it away from the wall. If you can't drain the tank for whatever reason, you'll pretty much have to live with that white (unless you hide it with say a 3d background inside the tank).

I have essentially the same problem but even worse: white Oyama stickering on the bottom of a 325, one of my bigger mistakes ordering the tank with that instead of black stickering.

As a side note your LFS did a terrible job of putting on that stickering :(
Can u show me your background at the bottom of your tank?
Btw this is the sticker only the white version

I dont think it looks that bad. Sort of arc deco lol.

You should be able to lower the water level enough to move the tank a bit off the wall...

Can i move it alone? Its a 150 gallon tank. I’ll try to lower the water then move it by myself lol

Actually you make a good point, maybe it's good they messed it up lol. In fact with all those air pockets it should also come off a bit easier if he can get it away from the wall. Normally with that Oyama it takes some decent strength to pull it off, esp. if it's been on a while.
Yeah actually i like the outcome of the sticker. It looks like an art or something lol. But my visitors always say that i should remove the background lol

You should, very carefully mind you. I'd lower it to fish fin level. Cut the lights in the tank maybe even put a blanket over it to keep them all from stressing out. Get down low on the stand and then try to budge it a little bit out at a time, making sure not to tip it at all or throw it off balance.

First yes that is Oyama sticker you have rolled up there. Here is my tank with (admittedly not very attractive) white oyama bottom. Background and sides were also white oyama but I took them off and replaced with blue future board.

What u talking about? Your tank looks nice!! And it looks way better than mine lmao

Thanks but when looking at it every day it's just too bright, especially when the lights are turned all the way in that direction.

Also I'm not 100% sure it's related, could just be a personality thing, but my Goldenhead is quite aggressive (always dive bombing me and chomping his jaws when I walk by his tank, often tries to attack nets or my siphon, etc.) compared to my BBXB, who has a quite dark tank, with black oyama bottom, which absorbs a lot of the light. Again this is not conclusive evidence, just a theory that the white bottom is less relaxing than a black one.

I will add that despite being in a darker tank than the GHXB, the BBXB also has not lost any crossing since moving to this tank 10 months ago, in fact her crossing has increased.

First. Its ok to have a white/bright background if your aro is gold. Second my ghbbxb isnt aggressive as yours. Not sure why yours is that aggressive.. hmm
