Find yourself a larger male (4 inches+). The female will become sub-dominant, and you’ll likely have zero problems breeding them. Convicts are the easiest Cichlids to breed in the hobby.
Here’s a beast of a male Convict that I owned back in 2012. He would literally breed with any female in the tank. 6” long and 1.5” thick. He was a brute. Find something like this, and you’ll have a steady clump of fry every 2-3 weeks. FYI- His name was Raider. Ah, the memories....
As reference, here’s another male that I owned up until 2018. Not as big as my other guy, but definitely a 5 incher. Point being, if your female is as aggressive as you’re suggesting, you’ll likely need something around this size in order to succeed with breeding her.
