I Need help URGENT before my tank collapses, Strut Brace Emergency

Okay guys thanks for all your help I think it's been successful. I plan to leave the water level just under 50percent for 2 days then re fil. Sound good? I'm gonna try and leave the lid off as long as possible, maybe 8-9 hours but don't wanna risk going to sleep and finding them all on the carpet, the little jumpers that they are. Keeping the lid open for as long as possible will help dry it out, as it's like a sauna in there if it's closed, all moist etc.

Here are the pics of the job. Heck knows, might even help someone in the future if this happens to me, as I was totally shocked when I saw it. I hope it holds when I refil!

Thanks guys! I was pretty worried about doing it myself. Just Hope it holds, I have the wood balanced under it to take the weight whilst it cures.

SteveR, are lights resting on the end of the tank and the glass braces? I asking just out of curiousity. I have never seen a hood and light fixture like that before. Love the tank!!!

I'd almost leave the lid off the whole cure time. If it gets really humid it may inhibit full curing. With the water that low I doubt the fish can jump out, you could always put some egg crate or other perforated top for a day while it cures.

unwanted moister will prolong the curing process.

Hey there. Nope, they sit higher than the stuts but do not balance on them. They are held on side sliding fixtures. Thanks, check out my signature for more pics.
