Just coming back to this, had the other one fail today 6 months on. Just repaired it and leaving to dry!

Congrats on a job well done! Sucks that you had to fix the other one, but at least you know how to do it now!

I just resealed my first tank last weekend (90 gal had sprung a leak) and filled last night with water. I know how nerve-wracking it is and how good you feel afterwards when it works!
