i need help with my clown

ok sorry.

I originally bought 2 Clown Knifefish (about 10cm long) , but one of them got his whole head chewed off by one of my other fish... presumably one of the oscars... (at that stage 10cm long aswell) quite wierd really as the other is perfectly fine and the oscars pay no attention to him only occasionally if he swims right for them....

About 2 weeks earlier, I came home from work to find my 15cm silver arowana lying on the bottom with his stomach missing... presumably one of the oscars too :(

He has been lying there with his insides hanging out for what must have been ages and my catfish were sucking on him... so I had to put him out of his misery.

I find that mine also hides the whole day long... I have a large piece of bogwood against the back / side of the tank which he hides behind and during the day i just push a few pellets into the sand near the enterance to his hideout... then he promptly pops his head out and grabs it.

I have even had him take a pellet out of my fingers... but that was yesterday and only once :)

At night time (around midnight, i pop downstairs and push a few pellets into the tank as hes most active then... and he gets most of them aswell)

my ck is extremely shy. today, out of no were he beat the heck out of my arrowana. is that normal. are cks agressive.

my arrow got his tale nipped to the bone. will it heal

Wow, those must be some mean oscars :headbang2

Well they are lovely oscars really... the larger one keeps to himself, and the two little ones have paired off... they dont seem to bother the other fish much, but if I add anything new they will always have to give it each at least noe bite just to check, even if its twice their size :P
