I need help with this "Blood Parrot"

I never heard of 'peeling' I think the poster just meant when they muture and get their adult colors. My prettiest orange/red Blood Parrot was the ugliest juvie. Black and brown stripes. He's gorgeous and a rich bright orange color now a year later.

"peeling" or "fading" are terms that are used to describe the process of the color change.

they are just baby BP's, they are all born gray and striped, they will turn jet black then fade the orange

Yay!!!
One of my BPs is almost completely orange! The other one still has the stripes and hasn't started peeling yet.
Is the orange usually faded at first when BPs get their adult colors?
