I need help!

You should probably take her out of her enclosure ASAP. Keep her in a smaller tank to quarantine her for a while. Line the bottom of the tank with paper towels. The tupperware container idea is great. Keep the humidity box in the quarantine tank. Change the paper towels and whatever you decide to keep in the tupperware container on a daily basis. Keep a very close eye on her while shes in there. You should try and remove reptiles from their normal enclosures as soon as you notice an injury like this. Something in her habitat could be adding to the problem. It also helps to narrow down the source of the problem

I have already put her in a quarantine tank so I can keep a closer eye on her. I put the humid hide in there and showed it to her and she stayed in there for a little while and when she came out her eye was open! I never thought about the humidity being part of the problem since I have never had ay problems with any of my leos but it does make sense. It is still swollen and has some blood around it so I am going to go buy some saline solution in a little bit and use the eye drops. And I will also check out that site and see if they might have a clue what could have happened. I am going to wait over the weekend and see how her eye is doing and if it hasnt got any better then I am going to take her back to the vet I already took her to. Thanks for all of the help!

Ya I have always left crickets in the cage because it had never been an issue before she always had them eaten in no longer than an hour. But I will make sure that I stop doing that now. And as for th eye drops I am really not sure if her eye will even open now but I can attempt it. I know it isnt the substrate I had her on carpet and all of te decor in her cage has smooth surfaces no pointed or sharp parts to them I checked that first. Does anyone know a herp vet in the wichita KS area? Because I only know of one. And what is a good gecko site? Thanks for the help already.

Dang it! her eye has been getting shut again it will open up for a little while then it is shut for the rest of the day I have been using the eyedrops and they do get her to open her eye. I tried posting pics of it and it wouldnt let me upload them it is probably my computer because it is slow as crap.
