I Need Help!!!

Well i am using Maracyn and Maracyn 2. He regained a lot of his color and i can see his gills moving again. For a while when i first saw the problem his gills werent moving he would just occasionaly go up top for air then go back down. i noticed today his eyes are a cloudy now and he reminds me of Darkman. The skin around his mouth is almost completely gone. Will this regrow? Should i add stress coat or do any water changes while treating the tank?

If i should do the water change or add stress coat or anything else i would like to do so asap. Just not sure if i should do either or both.

Do you have pics of its mouth? In the meantime, do another water change. It shouldn't hurt. Add the med by dosing based on the amount of water you replaced.

Looks so severely damaged. Have you treated it with Maracyn yet? Hope the fish pulls through.:)

Its had two days of Macryn and macryn 2. Just put in the 3rd days treatment. he to mean looks like he has gotten a little better by regaining a little of his color and actually moving his mouth a little and using his gills more.

Just to let you know that by adding maracyn to your main tank you will kill all of your beneficial bacteria and it will uncycle your tank compltely. The correct way to use the antibiotics is in a hospital tank so you don't kill off the BB. If you did put it in your main tank do daily ammonia checks cause there is nothing to convert this to nitrite and then nitrate. ----------i would remove the fish and put it in a hospital tank and raise the temp up to 80-82 degrees and then dose the maracyn and maracyn2 daily for a week to 10 days. Also add 1 table spoon of regular salt per 3 galons of water. and keep this salt bath up for 3 days and then drop the salt down to 1tbs per 5g of water. It is a good idea to do daily 25-35% water changes before you give the meds. And only salt what you take out.

yes i understand it hurt the BB but i have no other tank to move it to. I have no problem doing the water changes and actually it was already getting salt for what i thought was ICH. this developed over a 4 hour period on monday. the tank was at 87 degrees and i was adding salt for the ICH. So i lowered the tank and in the morning got the meds. It is now at 78 degrees and been on the meds now for the 3rd day. I shows no signs of getting worse but i want to make sure i am doing as much possible to help it. By doing the water changes and adding the meds and salt should i also add some stress coat?
