I need help.

I sent my husband to pick up the 110 tank today, we bought it off of CL. It was a pig sty. My husband doesn't know anything about fish and he thought it was gross. He brought everything home to include the fish. The fish were in a cooler full of water from the tank and it was so dirty I couldn't see the fish to net them. So I cleared out my 55 gal and put my fish in other tanks. I then put these into the 55. I will get the 110 cleaned up in the morning and move them over. I will also list the Red Devils on CL tomorrow. I am going to put the knife in with my severums if it is safe to do so. My cousin wants the SD so it has a home.

What should I ask for these fish when I list them? or are they just common fish?
 
Imo id leave the GT in the 55gal with maybe a non-red devil friend it looks like a really nice specimen! Wish mine had a gill plate like that and/or the ability not to get reamed by a red devil.

Yeh leave the GT and Knife (or put the knife in the with the sevs) move the RDs into the 110gal. imo just get rid of them for free or like $20 not many people will pay alot for large RDs, although they are nice...sell them as a trio or sepatatly, see what people will offer, as im not from the US i dont know how much they sell for...the GT will be fine in the 55gal for a while so plant it up with bog wood and leave him in there and get a few danios, or more silver dollars, or even fast large tetras.....would look sweet in a planted tank, and would bring out more colour and confidence...:D
 
I'm loving your male red devil. Let me know if you are willing to ship him when you sell him.
 
How big is the GT?? as long as the GT isent considrably bigger than the gouramis, they should be fine together, seems he will be pretty laid back as the RDs would have put him in his place, just provide lots of plants (pref plastic, or the GT might eat the real ones unless they are javas, amazon swords or cobomba) you can ship the RDs easy enough, just a big bag or 4 and a poly box....any pics of your other fish, i.e the sevs :P
 
the devils probably wont net you much if any money. petsmart sells them for about $5 as they are probably a mix of red devil and midas. if they didnt come from a reputable breeder most in the hobby are. if they do go for good money let me know i have 6 in my basement that i would love to sell. the gt would do alright with the severums and the knife with the gourami's so long as everyone is about the same size.


i keep my AFRICAN brown knife with my 2" cichlids.
