Yes definetly good you asked, cause in a 50 tank the fish would end up with gill curl and other health problems and eventually stop eating and die, yeah a 180 to 220 would be fine for a jardini

I had a jardini that outgrew his 75 gal in 1yr. It's good to research first. Glad you didn't buy it.
