I need micro monster help

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have some small Ctenopoma acutirostre, or "spotted climbing perches." They're also called the "leopard bush fish" I think. They max out at about 6-8" and look like a leopard-pattern leaf-fish. However, they seem to swim around more and have more personality than other "leaf fish." My little guys are too small for feeder fish, but once they pack on some size. . .

mine look more like this at almost 2" : http://www.aqua-fish.net/imgs/fish1/spotted-ctenopoma-3.jpg

By the way. Petsmart sells those climbing perches under the name "spotted african leaf fish." Misnomer. Go figure.

you can keep a group of jewel chiclids they will be great in colors, always territorial and awful good at killing other fish
not talking about the elongatus, the common red jewels it is
