I need ray advice

Rays aren't that bad. I've had my male MarblexMotoro for 10 months. Weekly 35-50% WC have worked out fine. I was nervous when I first got mine because of all the horror stories I heard on here but in all honesty him and my gar are my two easiest fish to keep.

If you're set up properly its not bad but the larger the water volume and filtration the better. Auto water changes make it all very easy.
