I need some stocking help for a 300 gallon CA Cichlid tank..

I like them all. A very nice combination. I know a guy that could help you with some of those. ;)

I like your stock list a lot especially with the Hog and Zonatus in the mix. Honestly, I think if you start with them small enough you could try all 6 provided there are plenty of the zones. 5 has been my magic number, but I'm mixing sexes so there's some flaring going on every now and again. No real fighting, just a lot of showing off.

But things can change quickly for no reason. Just be prepared to make adjustments....Cichlids behavior can be unpredictable especially once they reach adulthood.

I have quite a few fish from madness that I am trying out together in a 210g. I know they will not all stay but seeing what the mix turns out like.

The following cichlids were all from madness.
bocourti x1
synspillum x1
lyonsi x1
red devil x2
hoga x1
zonatus x2

Along with them I have 3 large red hook silver dollars and a L014 Pleco.

So far the hoga is my favorite, great community personality and gets along with everyone.

It is definitely worth a visit to Puyallup.
