damn i think you need another tank and to not get anymore fish. youve got a 180 stocked already.

At the moment they are all juveniles around 2-3 in, and the bichir and ebjd are in a separate tank, but I'm upgrading to a 265 very soon, so I figure get rid of the firemouths and get the rtm and trimac while they're young, that way they can all grow up together and hopefully cut down on aggression later, and I agree there's no such thing as to many fish as long as you can house them

Well it works out really well now. All the fish are still babies. The biggest one we have is the oscar and he's about 4 inches

Better let him get the 265, thats enough fish for that tank almost. Soon that Oscar will be 10 inches, the Jag as well and youll be stuck with a tank with more fish than water haha

That's what I'm telling my girl, but she won't believe me, I think they are both much prettier than firemouths

So I'm in a dilemma at the moment, I would very much like to get rid of my girlfriends firemouths in exchange for a Trimac and a RTM, only problem is, she's not going for it, so I need advice on how to talk her into it, and also I need all mkf'ers out there to PM her and tell her to let me get my fish!!! Oh I have no problem with getting the 265. I already knew we would have to get it when we started getting all the fish. I would rather him not keep the 55 and the 265 in the bedroom. lol Thats to much in a not so big room.
