I need to fear for my fingers!

Krich was right about piranhas being the clear answer. Tom's idea about a shoal of rhoms gives me anxiety...I think that might be as close to fearing your own aquarium as one can get...DO IT, lol.

However, this lfs in LA had a nearly 2 foot porcupine puffer (this thing was huge) that bit off some guys entire finger after he stuck it in the tank to touch the puffer. From the outside it looked cute and friendly, following your finger along the glass...he didn't realize they have some serious chompers and obviously didn't read the huge signs "FISH BITES - DO NOT PLACE HANDS IN TANK". Had to be taken away in an ambulance and tried to sue the store for losing his finger but the store had video of the incident with the huge warning signs visible. Needless to say, he lost the case and his finger.

Mine crunched crab legs at 3 Inches. I can't imagine the power of a two footer.

Silver aro! I love mine he has a ton of character always active and looks amazing mine is about 15inches and wile I was out of town just a week ago my girlfriend was feeding him and she was apparently taking too long and he jumped out of the tank and bit her hand scared the hell out of her and drew a little blood all and all he has bitten 3 people me once at about 6-7 inches. He bit my buddy at about 10 inches but it was his fault for taunting him with food a few inches above the water he got a supersize lol and my girlfriend a week ago at about 14-15 inches but I'm still able to reach in and do tank maintenance without fearing my fingers. all the times he has bitten people it has been during feeding time when you loose focus and look away for a sec and forget you still holding food above a tank with a fish that loves to jump

Sounds like a fun fish. You ought to mount a video camera across the room so we can enjoy some of these biting incidents.
