DO NOT release non-native fish into a local body of water.
It's completely irresponsible. If you simply release them into the local river because you "dont like them anymore"
, then you shouldnt buy any more fish until you earn a respect for the hobby and become more responsible.
I dont really care if you're 15 or 25 or 75. You're old enough to use common sense and listen to those that know more than you.

You answered your dilemma on your own. Pls read the sticky abot releasing fish in the wilds before thinking of doing it. I do not know why I get myself involved here but I am aware it is necessary to stop you from doing that silly idea. Again, don't do it. Pls use your common sense. Are u seriously that immature and lazy where as you lack way too much respect for the fishes life to be in this hobby find something else like soccer or foozeball u lazy ass. Give the fish to a friend or at least a lfs they will ALWAYS take african cichlids and JD's for at least store credit, and if you still wanna keep fish do us a favor and keep comet goldfish is a bowl.
