Well glad to hear you're back. But as others have mentioned, it'd be a very very good idea to cut down heavily on your stocking. It really sucks getting rid of fish you've become attached too, but as dumb as it sounds, if you care about them, you'll give them up to someone who will be able to house them properly. You can do a good amount of things with a 29g, though. 29's make awesome Shell Dweller tanks if you can find Shellies around your area. I've talked to alot of people who have kept tons of fish, and their little shellie tank is their favourite. =P

For the fish you have forget the 29g and the 55g your looking at a min of 90g, Better still a 125g. If you go for a 55g you need to move some fish on, IMO your FM's, JD's and blood parrot would max out a 55g.

make that a couple of days and your oscar will love you for ever

My 125g is getting small for my 2 oscars and JD, so I would also say to upgrade quickly...

I just saw a 75 at petsmart for 129 with full hood/lights, You would be better off doing daily manual water changes on that and then buying the filter when you can, than going with the 29. I know you don't have allot of room. You have a big decision to make....Tank?/or space?......That is the question. If 29 is as big as you can go for now, you have to lighten the load. Any other monster is almost better than an O as they grow SOOOOOO fast! Get a single g.t, or something that grows much much slower, to give yourself more time.
