Not a bad price for a healthy fish. I've seen fires appox 12" go for 100$ around here.. and bought mine at 6-8" for 40$ each. And I wouldn't sell my 20"+'s for anything less then some outrageous figure... worth every penny I've put into them.
I bought a 22" for $70 2 years ago on CL and another 23" 1 year ago for $78 at a LFS. They are both healthy and eating good. One eats worms and prawns. The other one eats worms and live crayfish. They are housed in different tanks.
You didnt over pay as long as it's healthy and it's colors are good. I don't hear much of shark aquarium here on Mfk buy on pfury he's a top vendor.

I woulda paid that much for an outgoing 1.5 18 inch fire eel that actually eats
mine was 85+ and it was less than a foot, hid a lot, and I had to starve it to get it to eat
