Thanks and please do!
its not a paper that i used. Its what we call a "rubber" its a rubber that will with stand sand blasting.
I am a stone carver and i carve Headstones. we use a "cutter" or "plotter" to cut the names, dates and what ever else the family wants on the stone.
i just simply printed my name..used old english as the font and i printed it backwards.
The only problem i had was the black paint cracking the red paint around the edges..but nothing really bad and you cant really see it..only if you are up close..
it cost me all of 23 dollars...
but the "rubber" is very expensive....the two feet of rubber is about 40.00
IF i was to get a brand new tank i would do it differently. I would do a vinyl wrap...i have a cousin that does it.
I asked about the drain cause the horizontal GPH for a single piece of pvc is like 850 gph.
You need to have a certain length of vertical drop to achieve terminal velocity. NOT having this drop reduces GPH. Having 2 1.5 drains "T"ing together is not gonnna help flow at all.
If it was me I'd get the drains split up, use sanitary "T"s off the tank, get your verticle length right and if you're lucky you might have a chance at flowing that 4K, but all these things still might not allow it. I had to go to a 1.5 and a 2" drain just to keep up with a Dart, which isn't 4K GPH. Guess it kinda depends on the quality of pump too as we all know not all 4K GPH pumps are the same.
Not to derail, but I was wondering if that was rubber. My dad did this for a living as well. He bought the business from my grandfather. Everything was done by hand with stencils- no plotters, cutters, etc. I did a little bit myself, but it wasn't my thing.
Thanks a lot..
my pumps are:
Viaaqua1300 doing 370 gph.
next is a petco and it does 225....i thought it did 375.
CA2200 doing 850 gph.
and one i got off of Bravehart that does 750. it doesnt have a cover with the name..and the back just has amps/volts...but it pushes my water better then the CA2200..
i can take a picture of it if you want..
so total gph is 2195
