Yeah the pots were huge and only $9 at chinamart. If things swing to the point where I can't keep nitrates at around 10-15ppm with say a 1/2 teaspoon of KNO3 every other day then I will remove one of the pots convert it back to a hanging houseplant.

what I did instead of putting the whole plant in was just cut parts of it off. It will rot in the tank.

Yeah I will keep an eye on it, right now no leaves are completely sumerged.
