I get that, my KK pummeled my Thai silk a couple weeks ago.
I split them up for 2 weeks. Reintroduced them once her tube came down. They went from a 55 gallon to a 40 gallon and are getting along more and more. Currently doing the breeding shaking.

Nice that sounds like your two are about to breed. I will mention that my experience with breeding Thai Silks (I've only ever kept female Thai Silks) is that they can be insanely aggressive when they start to spawn. I watched a 3.5 inch female give a ten inch male a very stressful time turning their courting and spawn. Keep a close eye on them, and keep us updated on any spawns you successfully have!!!

She's 5 inches and he's 7.5 inches (fish in my default).
I've tried one time with a blood parrot and he wasn't ready at 6.5 inches.
I might have to wait till 8.5 inches. They say a KK male isn't mature until 18-24 months old.
