I really want a reef tank...

The whole thing was a bit confusing. My mom spoke to him last weekend, and said I couldn't come up with the money. He said on the phone he would like to sell it to me, because I sounded 'dedicated' or something like that. So my mom said we would contact him if I got a bit more money...And he liked that idea. The sale wasn't definite, but I had the impression I was going to get it...He had the ad up for a week without any buyers, so I thought I had a bit more time than I actually did.

You don't happen to have a spare 200-400 gallon tank you want to ship all the way out here, do you Fleshy?

Ik your joking, but imagine the shipping on a 200-400g tank...it would be more than the tank itself probably.

Man, this is upsetting. I might get a custom built one...That's gonna cost a BIT more though...

Oh well...I will come back and bug you about setting it up, once I find another tank...And actually get this one. -.-
 
A custom...and your going to look at least 4k to the setup...if not more. The tank itself will probably be over 1k.
 
Oh yeah. I know haha. I requested a quote for a 220 gallon...The price WITH a discount was $1,400.
 
I could always build one myself though...
 
Building yourself might be cheaper...just depends.

Its not something to be messed around with though, you need good tools, good plans, and good materials.

None of that will save you from your own human error in the end though. Make sure that you measure 4 times, and cut twice to get all the angles right.
 
Alright....I have been looking on craigslist every half hour that im awake pretty much haha. Nothing yet...
