I really like this layout, not sure what your old one was, but this one sure makes everything in the tank pop out, yet looks serene.

Without doubt, 15" plus. Amazingly, he sat right at my feet a couple of times while I was in the tank moving things around. I was waiting for him to strike but he didn't seem to care and just seemed curious. The other fish couldn't get far enough away from me though.ccebr;4182913; said:

The colorful one to the far right is a bocourti. As for the jag, he is still slowly growing. 18"? I'd like to see it. The largest "proven" specimen I know of was the last guy I had. He was just under 17". I have yet to see anyone show proof of larger specimen anywhere.
This was my last guy. Unfortunately, I lost him during a house move.
The jag I have now is pretty much following in his footsteps.

did you raise them both from juvies or get them big already?
they grow so fast i picked up a couple of jags a few cm's 3 or 4 months ago, now the one i have left is pushing 5".
also, in my thread you said i should watch out for my other jag n wolf pairing up...what signs should i be looking for if they start to?

No, not from juvie stage. Both the jags had some size on them before they came into my possession. As for signs with your fish, I answered in your thread.
