...cruised around the lfs yesterday...
...was looking at the tanks, figured, ahh, just a bunch of 75-90's, then...
...came round the corner, and saw a 220 gallon tank for the first time! :WHOA:

all that came to my head was, SWEEEEEET!!!!

then i saw the price tag, only about $1,400.00, but they are a a bit overpriced..

AAAAANNNND....saw my first monsterfish!!!

one tiny little Polypterus ornatipinnis
a few bigger archerfish,
and i almost forgot the silver aro i saw a few weeks before...

anyhow...

anyone have some pics of their 220's, and what would you recommend for the tank?

could i fit an aro and a ornate (see above) in their?

thanks

c'mon, i know you've got some ideas, lol

what are the dimentions of it? the bichir should be cool, but depending on the dimentions will depend if you could have a silver arow, im sure it would house it for a while if no for life :) hope this helps

It's probably 72" long by 24" wide? You could fit a silver in there for a while but imo not for life. You'd have to get rid of it in 2 years probably.

Suggestions? It's all in what kind of fish you like or at least what is a main fish you want in there.

$$$$$$ helps then more $

Here is my 240 for you some idea's. There is a Royal Clown knife in there somewhere, he's still a baby at 9-10".

Thats a nice tank. Used to eye that up in the glasscages customer section wondering what the guy was going to put in such a nice tank. Now I know. :)

You are close enough to Glasscages to use them, shipping to the west coast cost more than the tank.

what are my stocking methods (if any) for housing some bichir species in there? any ideas?

ornate poss.?

thanks.

also, anyone know the req's for channel cats?

thanks again, Black.

Channel Cats get too huge for that so I would cross them off the list. I think 4ft?, I forget but huge..
