At 81 you should see fry in 2 - 2 1/2 days. They won't look like much at first -- they'll look like eggs with eyes and a wriggling tail. Over the course of a week or so they develop and absorb their yolk sacs and you'll notice they look more like baby fish -- long bodies, tails, big eyes.
There's really no way to tell if they're good yet. The amber color is a good sign. If all the eggs fungus and turn fuzzy and white over the next couple days, they were infertile.
I feed all my fry newly hatched brine shrimp. I realize it's a job in itself and some people don't like to go that route, but I find that they grow faster on that. It is a tedious chore though. Some people use First Bites fry food or crushed flakes. My fish never took either of those very well. You can also try decapsulated brine shrimp which don't have to be hatched, or golden pearls which a lot of people seem to have luck with. These you may have to special order so they're probably not as readily-available as crushed flakes or First Bites.
